📝 Position Overview
The Nurse at Vita Cura Institute will support both the Health & Social Care training programs and the institute’s healthcare needs. This role combines professional nursing responsibilities with student mentorship, simulation training support, and basic clinical services.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Provide healthcare services to students and staff, including first aid and basic medical care.

Support practical training sessions in the Health & Social Care department, including demonstrations in simulation labs.

Supervise and guide nursing assistant students during practice sessions and internships.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across the institute.

Maintain accurate health records and prepare reports as required.

Coordinate with local hospitals and clinics for student internship placements.

Assist in developing and updating training materials for healthcare-related programs.

Provide health education and awareness sessions for students and staff.

Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards in handling medical information.
✅ Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Registered with the Cameroon Nursing Council (or relevant body).

Minimum of 2 years’ practical nursing experience (clinical or teaching experience is an advantage).

Strong knowledge of elderly care, caregiving, and mental health support.

Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
